SACRAMENTO -- A Californians for Justice today brought 100 students and parents from across
the state to Sacramento to urge lawmakers to make good on the promise of Brown v. Board of Education on the
64 th anniversary of the landmark 1954 Supreme Court decision that mandated the desegregation of schools.

SACRAMENTO – The California Senate today passed Senate Bill 1050 by a unanimous 38-0 vote to extend services and support for exonerated people released from prison after their wrongful convictions are overturned.
