January 18, 2018

Dear Neighbors,

This flu season is one of the most severe in recent years. As of January 10, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health reported 36 flu-related deaths in our area. At this same time last year, the county had only experienced 13 flu related deaths. Flu-related emergency room visits are up 130 percent!

Everyone 6 months of age and older should be vaccinated against the flu every year. This Saturday, January 20, the California Department of Public Health and Kaiser Permanente are offering a FREE FLU CLINIC and FREE FLU SHOTS.
