AFRICAN AMERICAN LEADERS OF TOMORROW

LOS ANGELES (July 9-12, 2018) -- Sen. Holly J. Mitchell and staff last week helped mentor tomorrow’s Black leaders at the African-American Leaders of Tomorrow program. This year, 89 teens attended a nearly week-long leadership training program at California State University, Dominquez Hills. The annual program provides campus housing as AALT participants learn about core issues relating to leadership, politics, civic responsibility, financial literacy, career development and more through intense hands-on training and workshops.
