Happy New Year Dear Neighbor,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and spirits and that 2023 was a wonderful year for you and your family. I am excited to report that my District office team and I had a busy end of the year. From food and toy giveaways, district site tours and community events: we were out there doing our best to represent and serve our communities.

I am excited about this year’s 2024 legislative session and work on the state budget and on legislation that will continue supporting our district’s unique and diverse neighborhoods.

I look forward to working with the Assembly, my colleagues in the Senate and the Governor over the coming months to continue crafting a budget that protects our progress, core programs, and strengthens the quality of life for Californians.

As always, I stand ready to serve you, and encourage you to contact my offices for assistance or with questions at (562) 406-1001 or visit https://sd30.senate.ca.gov/

God bless, and have a Happy New Year!

Senator Bob Archuleta, Thirtieth Senate District
Chair, Senate Military and Veterans Affairs Committee

Out and About in SD30

I had the pleasure of celebrating the holidays with many of the communities in the 30th Senate District. It was great to attend tree lighting ceremonies, toy giveaways and pancake breakfasts and parades. I hope you all enjoyed your time with family and friends.

I attended the Lions Club International food distribution in the City of Montebello.

Lions Club International President Dr. Patti Hill and District President Scarlett Ku graciously presented me with a plaque, recognizing the work my office has done on behalf of constituents. I thanked them for their philanthropy worldwide and locally.

I was proud to join the City of La Habra Heights at their heli-hydrant dedication ceremony. The city partnered with Supervisor Janice Hahn‘s office, as well as the Puente Hills Habitat Preservation Authority, to bring this crucial piece of firefighting equipment to La Habra Heights. The heli-hydrant, along with over $1M in firefighting resources that I secured from the 2021 state budget, will go a long way in fighting wildfires in the region.
