Senator Archuleta Selects the Mexican American Opportunity Foundation as the 30th Senate District’s Nonprofit of the Year

Sacramento, CA – Senator Bob Archuleta (Pico Rivera) is pleased to announce the Mexican American Opportunity Foundation (MAOF) as the 30th Senate District’s Nonprofit of the Year.

As Nonprofit of the Year, MAOF will continue to expand its reach and enhance its programs to meet the evolving needs of the community. Their selection underscores the importance of their work and the positive impact they bring to Senate District 30 and beyond.

Founded in 1963, MAOF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the socio-economic status of Mexican-American families, as well as the broader Latino families and people from all racial and ethnic backgrounds in California. Through a wide range of programs and services, MAOF empowers individuals to achieve self-sufficiency, enhance their quality of life, and contribute to their communities.

Senator Bob Archuleta currently represents the 30th Senate District, which includes portions of Los Angeles County and Orange County. He is the Chair of the Senate Committee on Military and Veterans Affairs, and a member of the Business, Professions and Economic Development Committee, Government Organization Committee, Transportation Committee, as well as the Joint Legislative Committee on Emergency Management.
