This year, more than ever before, getting the flu vaccination is important for the well-being of you, your family, friends and neighbors. Below you will find information where free immunizations are available in and around District 32.

It’s been another busy and productive month in Sacramento during this legislative session as my colleagues and I continue to work on ensuring all Californians are supported with the vital resources necessary to safely return families to both school and work.

With all the information about COVID-19 coming at us this week from a variety of sources, I encourage everyone to take a moment to gather our thoughts.

The next two weeks will be crucial as we continue to learn from the experts about COVID-19, otherwise known as the coronavirus. Your part as a constituent in the 32nd Senate District is essential as we keep each other informed.

Welcome to March, which is Women’s History Month, which originated in Santa Rosa, California, with President Jimmy Carter, in February 1980, issuing the first Presidential Proclamation declaring “the Week of March 8th 1980 as National Women’s History Week.” Every president, beginning in 1995, has proclaimed March as Women’s History Month.

My staff and I have been busy distributing 450 turkeys and all the trimmings to constituents in the Thirty-Second District. It is thanks to generous donors that I was able to provide these families with holiday cheer.
