State Senator Bob Archuleta Welcomes New Housing in 32nd District

On Par with Governor Newsom's Call for More Housing

MONTEBELLO – On par with Governor Gavin Newsom’s announcement for more housing throughout the state, State Senator Bob Archuleta (D-Pico Rivera) on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2019, took part in a ribbon-cutting for new townhomes in the Thirty-Second Senate District.

The senator congratulated local developer Arnulfo Ruiz, owner and president of Montebello-based Niteam Corporation for turning a once blighted piece of property into the American Dream for eight families.

“Governor Newsom is working hard to make sure cities are making it possible for developers to provide housing throughout California, and I am proud to see it here today in the Thirty-Second Senate District,” Sen. Archuleta said.

Ruiz is an immigrant from Mexico who considers Senator Archuleta a mentor because of their shared backgrounds in realty, acknowledged the city of Montebello officials for working with him and providing a planning process that made it possible for the project to be completed in a timely manner.
