Senator Bob Archuleta Announces Reauthorization of the Senate Select Committee on Hydrogen Energy

SACRAMENTO, CA – Senator Bob Archuleta (D-Pico Rivera) announced the reauthorization of the Senate Select Committee on Hydrogen Energy to provide an overview of the State and the progress of the hydrogen industry as California continues making use of emerging energy technology to help the State meet its clean energy goals.  

"I thank Senator Pro Tem Toni Atkins for reauthorizing the Senate Select Committee on Hydrogen Energy to continue its work ensuring California meets its clean energy and reduced emission targets”, stated Archuleta. “Hydrogen energy will be an important part of our clean energy future, with the hydrogen hub projects and exciting new technologies in the clean energy sector paving the way for more zero emissions vehicles and clean transportation options in California." 

Senator Archuleta will Chair the Select Committee as it reconvenes during the 2023-2024 legislative session with the following Select Committee Members:

Senator Bob Archuleta currently represents the 30th Senate District, which includes portions of Los Angeles County and Orange County. He is the Chair of the Senate Committee on Military and Veterans Affairs, and a member of the Business, Professions and Economic Development Committee, Government Organization Committee, Transportation Committee, as well as the Joint Legislative Committee on Emergency Management.
