It’s been a month since I returned to Sacramento for the 2020 legislative session, and it’s been a busy and constructive time.

My staff and I are continuing our work on behalf of the constituents of the Thirty-Second Senate District. 

My colleagues and I are working on a full legislative agenda addressing the issues facing the great state of California.

Senator Bob Archuleta Recognizes Kim Family for Its 30 Years in Commerce and Its Service in the Armed Forces

January 15, 2020

COMMERCE – The Kim Family has been a part of commemorating the triumphs and special occasions of those living in the city of Commerce for 30 years.  The House of Winners Inc. – a one-stop, custom plaque and trophy shop – has samples of sports, political and personal accomplishments lining its walls and shelves.

My staff and I have been busy distributing 450 turkeys and all the trimmings to constituents in the Thirty-Second District. It is thanks to generous donors that I was able to provide these families with holiday cheer.

The first year as your state senator has been a very busy and productive one. Both my Capitol and District office staffs have been representing me, and working hard on behalf of you, the constituents of District 32.




District News

PICO RIVERA CA – State Senator Bob Archuleta has secured $365,000 for the city of Pico Rivera to improve three of its Parks and Recreation facilities. The ceremony took place at Rio Hondo Park at 4:00 pm, Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 8421 San Luis Potosi Place, Pico Rivera, CA 90660 with children, city staff and elected officials.

The money includes $200,000 for the replacement of the playground at Rio Hondo Park; $70,000 for the replacement of the playground at Veterans and Ladies Auxiliary Park, and $95,000 for improvements to the swimming pool at Smith Park.

Although fall is just around the corner, temperatures are still high, so please take precautions to keep hydrated by drinking plenty of water, wear sunscreen and look on your family and friends. Of course, a reminder not to leave pets in your car.
